Risto Summer Shoe Sale
Risto just launched a “Summer Sale” in which they have lowered the price of the popular Series 2 Ristos down to $119. I’m guessing they are doing the same thing that car dealers do toward the beginning of fall – clearing out inventory for the next year’s model to roll in. Regardless, that is a great price to pay for this shoe considering it competes directly with higher-end shoes such as Nike’s Romaleo and Adidas’s AdiStar Weightlifting shoe. You can scoop up a pair at RistoSports.com right now, not sure how long the price will stay that low.

Risto has also discontinued the old Pink Thunder shoe and replaced it with the new LG Thunder – which I’m guessing is short for Ladies Gray…? I definitely like this style better than the old Pink Thunder, and it now follows the same design and styling as the other Series 2 models. My only complaint would be that the gray colored leather is a little too silver looking to...
Blue Risto Series 2 Disappointing
UPDATE: 5/31/2011 Since this news article was originally released, Risto has now started producing a newer version of the Linea Blanca that looks much better and holds true to the design of the other Series 2 shoes. Well Risto finally released the Blue Series 2 shoe known as the Linea Blanca. The shoe is made exactly like the White Thunder Series 2 but the styling is a little different, and a little disappointing. If you look at the White Thunder shoe, the only leather pieces that are colored are the toe cap, the side stripes, and the rear stripe. This has the effect of creating a “white” shoe with black accents, and also makes the shoe look more aggressive....
